Adbijan is such a beautiful , peaceful and romantic place to live in . Very hospital people I must say . Besides language and communication issues, nothing was out of order for me . Visited over 20 spots in the city and they were all great . La’acheike was my favourite local meal !!!

Very French (Almost no English up to senior management level. Yango is best taxi app in the area. General prices very high compared to South AFrica (Average 2.5x) Very Very Humid . Aircon essential. Streets generally neat , buildings average for Africa (run down / under construction) - but clean and neater streets really make the city look more modern than one can believe. Very French influenced - some great bakeries and food. Internet says 4G but much slower / poor reception than many other countries. Had one night with a water interruption . Traffic during rush hour is CRAAAZZZYYYYYYY. Dont even bother with Taxi during this time unless you can wait 45min to get one. No really nice beaches close to Abidjan - be prepared to drive out for this.Henderson - 10Scored 10

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Le Wafou the staff were amazing, literally from the point of check in and for our entire stay. The pool staff were great, the restaurant staff were fantastic everyone worked as a team and wanted to ensure we got everything we wanted. The Ivorians are very friendly and engaging.
The Ivorians are very friendly and engaging. There were numerous places of interest and never had any trouble. Future tourists are advised to use uber for all their trips. The taxi driver I picked from the airport to cocody charged me 10,000 Cfa instead of the maximum 5,000 Cfa. That was my lowest point. My return trip to the airport which was even occasioned with a slow paced traffic was 4,800 Cfa .

I loved it and I had the best time.
I loved it and I had the best time. I walked freely without being approached or anyone begging. People were courteous and friendly, except taxi drivers, they get upset very quick it was funny. I only missed my coffee. I will be returning soon.

The staff is customer service focused and quickly responded to issues that I brought to their attention. The bar and restaurant onsite are not to be missed. Even if you are not staying here please try the hotel and restaurant! I really wish this hotel sold their bed linen because it was so comfortable. After a few hours enjoying the pool be sure to get in a massage onsite you won't be disappointed.

We travelled in a large group and they made every effort to accommodate our (at times!) unreasonable requests. The breakfast also had a lovely spread and the pastries were to die for. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on and pretty much everyone in our party agreed. I would certainly stay here again on my next visit to Abidjan!
