Anjuna beach was about 3.5 km from our hotel. It was overcrowded and quite dirty. The flea market is good if you can bargain well. To get around it is advisable to rent a bike or car. However, a bike is preferable as the roads are narrow. Must try cafes and restaurants nearby: Baba Au Rhum Elephant & Co. There’s some good food and service , and the vibe is good at Artjuna If you’re into the sports bar thing , Bobby’s Fat Fish is good , with a very good fish thali . But the many small stalls , and the large liquor outlets really detract from the small town’s appearance I think , it’s hard to find a little tea shop , serving fresh samosas and chai . But the worst thing for me , is the abundance of techno music , blaring out from empty places , like there’s a dance party on every corner .Robert - 10Scored 10

Anjuna is a great and relatively central location in North Goa. Calangute/ Baga and Siolim were both only 5-6 kms away from Anjuna. Making the overall internal travel much cheaper. Unless all places on your list are in Baga, I strongly suggest living in Anjuna instead. Vagator and Ozran Beach and all their beach side restaurants are only 2 kms away. The approach to the hotel was through winding roads and a mixture of housing. Paths to beach away from traffic would be good specially for pedestrians. Improvement in Public transport will help tourists to reach Anjuna local markets. Lack of access other than taxis meant we had to cancel our plans to visit Anjana Friday market.

It also comes with a balcony and swimming pool which is like cherry on the cake. Shared the dorm with some really cool solo travellers and we ended up exploring North Goa together! Also the host Neha, Ravi and Nikit are extremely helpful and welcoming. And how can I forget the best cocktail maker Neerav and his sick playlist. Overall, it was really a comfortable stay with lots of memories left behind.

Me and my girlfriend spent 5 nights there and we didn’t want to leave. We barely left the property because it was just so cosy. The atmosphere of the place is so inviting. The spa also is so good, we went twice. Also fair price. I can’t recommend more.
